Randall Lex has an older brother Ricter (embraced at 27 years old). The two used to work together on their treasure hunts. They were very close. A few years before the brothers’ separate Embraces, their parents were killed in a freak accident under suspicious conditions. Ricter left the home, leaving Randall to take care of their terminally-ill little sister. She died after three years of suffering, despite her brother’s care. Ricter and Randall met up a few months later and parted on very bad terms, each vowing to find the ultimate reward for their efforts.
