So what is a doujinshi?
Basically, it's a small manga (comic book) drawn by a very talented Japanese person (usually) using characters from an anime or manga that already exists. I'm not 100% sure of how this is legal... maybe the doujinshika have permission to draw and sell the anime characters? All I really know about doujinshi is that the art is usually beautiful and far beyond anything that I will ever be capable of. There are many different types of doujinshi out there for whatever you're in the mood for: yaoi, yuri, hentai, friendship, story, parody, even novel! All the ones I have/want are of the yaoi, non-novel variety. No graphic scans here, just the covers and a basic description. ((Click to view My Wishlist))
